Rivergate Marina and Shipyard – Murarrie QLD

Rivergate Marina and Shipyard is seeking a creative, Content Creator to help capture and share the day-to‑day activity, people, and projects that make our marina and shipyard unique. This role is for two days a week - ideal for someone who enjoys storytelling through visual and written content and is comfortable working in an industrial/marine environment.

You’ll be responsible for creating engaging, on‑brand content for our digital platforms, helping showcase our facilities, vessels, trades, and team in an authentic and compelling way.

Key Responsibilities

- Capture high-quality photos and short-form videos around the marina and shipyard
- Create engaging content for social media (e.g. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn). Including video editing, captions, and content scheduling
- Highlight vessels, maintenance projects, behind-the-scenes activity, and staff stories
- Assist in day-to-day management of all digital media
- Work with the team to align content with upcoming projects, events, or promotions
- Maintain a consistent visual style and brand voice

About You

- Experience or enthusiasm in creating engaging content and stories for social media




- Confident using a smartphone and/or camera for photos and video
- Basic editing skills (e.g. Adobe, Canva, or similar tools)
- Creative, self‑motivated, and able to work independently
- Comfortable working outdoors and around boats, machinery, and marine trades
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Desirable (but not essential)

- Experience in marine, industrial, or trades-based environments
- Knowledge of social media trends and best practices
- Drone experience (licensed)
