Being part of our team
Based in our manufacturing facility in Acacia Ridge, you will be responsible for operating the warehouse and assisting with the manufacture and assembly of optical fibre cable solutions.
Working full time hours, Monday to Friday you will:
Organise and maintain the warehouse to ensure stock is received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and accurately.
Manage the inventory, ordering and assembly of OFS products.
Build components used for Optical Fibre Cable installation.
Repair and maintain workshop equipment, workshop area and grounds.
Liaise with suppliers and stakeholders, building trusted relationships.
Maintain and promote quality and safety standards.
About you
You're a self-starter who takes initiative and completes tasks to a high standard. You're a team player who is willing to pitch in and help,
but is equally comfortable working autonomously. Your positive "can do" attitude, quality orientation and ability to deliver to deadlines set you apart.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in warehousing coupled with exposure to production & manufacturing processes and/ or component assembly.
Essential skills
Current manual Australian Driver'sLicense
Experience using hand tools and power tools
Confident reading and interpreting technical drawings
Comfortable working to deadlines, with a focus on quality
Competent in Microsoft Word & Excel
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Comfortable working autonomously and as part of a team
The right to work in Australia with no restrictions
Highly Desirable, however not essential to apply
Previous electrical and / or mechanical experience would be beneficial.
On the job training will be provided to the successful applicant ensuring your success in the role.
