We are a person-centred and values based Disability support provider and are dedicated to working alongside NDIS participants and their families to achieve their goals as well as foster choice and control over how they want to live their life.

About the role

We are looking for experienced Disability support workers who have 3 or more years in supporting people with intellectual disability and or vision impairment. You will be dedicated and reliable as we are a small team. The work will be performed in our participant's home as well as in the community. You must be available to work morning and evening shifts with sleep overs on weekdays, weekends and public holidays as required.

About you

- Previous experience (3 years+) in disability support with certificate 3 or 4 in disability qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Female support workers need only apply.
- Patience,



flexibility, resilience and a desire to be part of a responsive and adaptable team and work within the NDIS practice standards.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including experience in non-verbal/gestural communication styles.
- Ability to follow all support plans as prescribed for our participant to maximise opportunities to build capacity and promote inclusion.
- Ability to assist with personal care and other activities of daily living while maintaining privacy and confidentiality.
- National police check (within 6 months)
- Working with vulnerable people (WWVP) clearance and NDIS worker screening check.
- Current drivers licence and reliable vehicle
- Current First aid & CPR Certificate
- Current Assist clients with medication certificate
