About us

Our centre is a vibrant, nature-based setting featuring chickens, ducks and turkeys, alongside an enclosed vegetable garden, a tool workshop, and a clay studio. We also host a bi-monthly farmers’ market, strengthening our connection with our wonderful community. In addition, we run fortnightly excursions to the Kimberley Park Forest, where staff deliver our Kindergarten Rangers program and lead bush walks for babies using our centre pram, ensuring even our youngest learners can safely experience the outdoors.

We are an 80-place service offering before and after school care for Kimberley Park State School, with a strong focus on community engagement and family involvement. We’re proud of our close-knit community where families are genuinely part of the centre and help shape what we do.

About the Role





We are looking for an educator who is passionate about outdoor education, learning through play, and slow pedagogy. The right person will want to jump in alongside the team, children, and families, and be part of the everyday rhythm.

We are looking for educators who have;

Understanding children and their needs - must have knowledge of early childhood development

Experience in working with children and demonstrating responsive practices that meet children's individual needs & routines.

Emphasis on creating and maintaining learning environments for children which are physically safe yet promote a challenge to support well-being and development.

Experience in working collaboratively with a team to strive toward excellence

Meet professional ethics and conduct responsibilities

Establish and maintain respectful collaborative partnerships with families

You would bring the following:

Must be Studying Cert III in Early Childhood or Hold an Certificate III in early childhood Education qualification or higher

Extraordinary relationship skills – exceptional communication and interpersonal skills

Current Working with Children Check

First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis, Child Protection
