About the role
We are currently seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Support Worker to provide support to children and young adults living with disability.
This role involves personal care support and community access and is ideal for someone who is patient, resilient, and passionate about supporting participants to build independence, engage in their community, and achieve positive outcomes.
This is a casual role based in South Penrith working Tuesday to Friday, 2.30pm-4.30pm with the option for additional shifts.
About you
We're looking for someone who is:
- Compassionate, patient, and genuinely committed to supporting others.
- Organised and proactive, with the confidence to assist with personal care, daily routines and encourage independence.
- A clear and respectful communicator who can build positive, trusting relationships.
You will have:
- Previous experience as a Support Worker.
- Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
- Experience supporting children and young adults.
- An understanding of positive behaviour support practices.
- A full Australian driver’s licence and your own vehicle.
