About the Role – Causal Support Worker

We are currently seeking experienced and compassionate Disability Support Workers for casual agency shifts, with the potential to build up to full-time hours based on performance and availability. Opportunities are available for immediate starts, as well as advance bookings for suitable candidates.

You will be supporting clients across a range of settings, working with individuals who have physical and intellectual disabilities, as well as mental health needs. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience providing person-centred support, managing behaviours of concern, and adapting to varying support requirements.

This role involves working across a variety of shifts, implementing Behaviour Support Plans, following medication protocols, and delivering consistent, high-quality care. You will assist with daily living tasks while maintaining a safe, structured, and supportive environment that promotes each client’s wellbeing, stability, and independence.

Flexibility, reliability, and the ability to work across different environments and support needs are key to success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver person-centred support – Provide high-quality care tailored to each client’s individual needs, promoting independence, dignity,



and wellbeing.

Assist with daily living activities – Support clients with personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and other day-to-day tasks in a safe and respectful manner.

Implement care and behaviour support plans – Follow Behaviour Support Plans and care routines, including managing behaviours of concern and adhering to medication protocols where required.

Maintain a safe and supportive environment – Monitor client wellbeing, respond appropriately to any changes or incidents, and ensure accurate documentation and communication with the wider team.

Certificate III (or higher) in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services.

Experience with medication administration and understanding of protocols

You are confident in supporting clients with behaviours of concern and implementing Behaviour Support Plans.

Availability for casual shifts, including short notice and wide-ranging hours

Patient, empathetic, and reliable with strong communication skills.

Current Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening Check.
