Project Manager -Energy & Infrastructure Program
$800 - $1,200 per day + super | Contract, ASAP to 29 January 2027 | Sydney CBD, Hybrid
Join a major program based in Sydney's CBD as a Project Manager -Energy & Infrastructure Program leading the coordination function across a portfolio of complex projects. This role is well suited to an experienced project coordination leader who can manage multiple interfaces, build strong governance discipline, and lead a coordination team through a fast-paced delivery environment.
About the role
- Lead and manage the project coordination function across the program, ensuring consistent governance, reporting and delivery standards
- Oversee coordination of workstreams, milestones and interdependencies across multiple projects and delivery teams
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, senior leadership and external delivery partners
- Drive consistency in project documentation, governance papers, reporting and risk management practices across the portfolio
- Support planning, scheduling and resourcing decisions to keep the program on track

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline: Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, Environmental Science, Planning, Business, Commerce, or related field
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex infrastructure, energy, utilities, transmission, renewable energy, or government projects
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies, governance frameworks, risk management principles and reporting practices
Essential skills and experience
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary project teams, consultants and contractors within a complex stakeholder environment
- Proven ability to prepare high-quality executive briefings, governance papers, business cases, reports and presentations
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, project risks, budgets, schedules and deliverables in a rapid-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate across a broad range of stakeholders
- Advanced skills in project management systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Experience supporting the delivery of large-scale infrastructure or energy projects through planning, procurement, delivery and operational readiness phases
