Operating from our Burleigh Heads office, this role manages a portfolio of residential and commercial insurance repair and restoration projects across the Gold Coast. You will coordinate subcontractors, manage project timelines, budgets and documentation, and maintain clear communication with homeowners, insurers and loss adjusters from start to finish.

Reporting to the General and Operations Manager, this hybrid role combines office coordination with regular time in the field, including travel across the region to monitor progress firsthand. It would suit someone who brings strong coordination and organisational skills, together with practical trade knowledge or an interest in developing their understanding of construction and insurance repairs.

This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who values autonomy, enjoys building strong relationships and takes pride in delivering quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate and schedule subcontractors across a portfolio of concurrent insurance repair and restoration projects, ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard.
- Conduct regular site visits to review progress and workmanship, obtain and file contractor Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), and ensure strict adherence to Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S;) laws and policies.
- Monitor project timelines and repair life targets across all active jobs, managing sequencing and escalating issues early to keep projects on track.
- Maintain proactive communication with homeowners, loss adjusters, and insurers throughout each project,

building strong relationships and resolving issues quickly and professionally.
- Review estimates, monitor costs and margins, and ensure no trades commence on site without an approved purchase order.
- Attend weekly construction meetings and Work in Progress (WIP) reviews, ensuring all job files, photographs, and documentation are kept up to date.

Could This Be You?

We are looking for an ambitious individual with a proactive attitude who is comfortable balancing office based coordination with regular time in the field. To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Trade qualifications or experience in construction, insurance building or restoration will be highly regarded but are not essential, as training can be provided
- Confidence reading plans and scope documents, with a solid understanding of project budgets, labour and material rates
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple active projects and competing priorities
- Competence in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn industry-specific project management systems
