Aussie Solar Batteries is looking for an experienced and practical Senior Warehouse Operations Assistant to support the day-to-day operation and ongoing improvement of our Brisbane warehouse.
This is a hands-on warehouse position. You will be actively involved in receiving stock, unloading deliveries, moving and organising products, preparing orders, loading vehicles and completing local deliveries when required.
In addition to daily warehouse duties, you will have the opportunity to help improve the warehouse layout, stock locations, labelling, inventory control and general operating processes.
This is not a purely administrative or supervisory role. We are looking for someone who is comfortable working on the warehouse floor and can also identify practical ways to make the warehouse safer, more organised and more efficient.
The position may suit an experienced storeperson,
senior warehouse assistant or warehouse team member who is ready to take on greater responsibility while remaining actively involved in daily warehouse work.
Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Operations
Receive, unload and check incoming stock.
Move, store and organise batteries, inverters, solar products and installation materials.
Pick, pack and prepare orders accurately and on time.
Load and unload company vehicles safely.
Complete local deliveries and stock transfers when required.
Assist installers and internal teams with the collection and return of materials.
Process returned, damaged or incorrectly supplied stock.
Maintain a clean, secure and organised warehouse environment.
Use appropriate equipment and safe manual handling practices when moving heavy or bulky products.
Warehouse Organisation and Improvement
Help plan and maintain practical storage locations for warehouse stock.
