Sunshine Coast Coffee Machines PTY LTD is seeking a Coffee Machine/Small Appliance Technician to join our growing team in Buderim, QLD. This is a full-time position that offers an excellent prospect to develop your technical expertise in the coffee machine and small appliance servicing industry.
There is an opportunity for the right applicant to acquire a Restricted Electrical License after 5 years of training working in the industry.
You will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing our clients' equipment, ensuring they receive prompt, professional service that keeps their businesses running smoothly. This position is based in our Buderim workshop and involves workshop repairs
What you'll be doing
- Diagnosing and repairing faulty coffee machines, espresso machines, and other small appliances
- Performing routine maintenance and servicing on client equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity
- troubleshooting technical issues in the workshop
- Testing repaired equipment to verify functionality and safety compliance
- Ordering and managing spare parts and components required for repairs
- Providing excellent customer service and technical advice to clients regarding equipment care and maintenance
- Adhering to health and safety standards and procedures at all times
What we're looking for
- Experience as a technician in coffee machine servicing, appliance repair, or a similar technical field is favorable but not necessary. Training will be provided for the right applicant.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify faults quickly and efficiently
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment
- Knowledge of electrical systems, mechanical components relevant to coffee machines and small appliances
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams
- Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach
- Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude to work
- Valid QLD driver's license
- Relevant qualifications or certifications in appliance repair, electrical work, or mechanical servicing are highly desirable
