What you'll be doing

Reporting to the Information Security Manager, you'll become the technical owner of the organisation's day-to-day cyber security operations.

No two weeks look the same.

You might begin the week investigating Defender or Sentinel alerts, reviewing vulnerabilities and working alongside the Managed Security Service Provider. Later in the week you could be supporting third-party security assessments, refining security controls or improving governance processes.

As the organisation continues to mature its cyber capability, you'll gain practical experience across security operations, identity, endpoint security, cloud security, data protection and governance while contributing to continuous improvement across the environment.

What you'll bring

We're interested in speaking with Information Security Analysts looking to broaden their experience, or Infrastructure and IT Operations professionals with strong Microsoft security exposure who are ready to transition fully into cyber security.

Ideally you'll bring:

- Experience with Microsoft security technologies such as Defender, Sentinel, Entra ID, Purview or similar
- Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships across the business
- A genuine interest in automation, emerging technologies and continuous improvement

Experience within financial services or another regulated environment will be well regarded but isn't essential.
