As the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the company's financial operations, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting. This full-time position is based in Sydney, NSW 2000, and offers the prospect to contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation.

Leading the Finance team, you will be responsible for the aspects of finance and accounting, human resources and company secretary.

What you'll be doing

Finance and accounting -

Oversee and manage the daily routines, monthly and year-end closing procedures and reporting process including monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and annual closing procedures in compliance of the Company policies and procedures.

Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of company performance and financial situations to Directors and overseas parent company.

Strategic planning and risk management of all financial and tax matters of the Group and Subsidiaries.

Project costing and feasibility studies, cash flow forecast and management, budgeting.

Annual audit, group income tax returns and other taxes obligations for SGE.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and company policies and procedures.

Liaise with bankers, auditors and solicitors, etc

Company Secretary -





Formalities of company registration according to statutory requirements.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, support the board of directors, and maintain accurate records

What we're looking for

CA, CPA or ACCA qualified

3+ years in a Finance Manager or equivalent senior finance role

Experience within the property development industry — experience with a China-based developer, or the Australian entity of one, will be highly regarded

Fluent Mandarin, including the ability to prepare financial reports in Chinese for the overseas parent company

Solid working knowledge of GST, income tax and transfer pricing

Exposure to company secretarial duties and the Corporations Act
