$85,313 - $111,461 salary package - includes base salary ($75,164 - $98,202), plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading, paid pro-rata.

About the role
As a Librarian at TAFE NSW, you’ll be the go‑to expert who connects students with the information, tools, and confidence they need to thrive. You will deliver dynamic, customer‑focused support, both in person and online, helping learners build strong information literacy skills and navigate a wide range of digital and physical resources with ease.
You will collaborate with teaching teams,
champion our collections and digital guides, and promote creative library services that inspire engagement across campus. If you’re energised by helping others learn, love staying ahead of emerging technologies, and enjoy shaping a modern, impactful library experience, this is a role where you’ll make a real difference every day.
About You
You’re an enthusiastic and dedicated library professional who is passionate about delivering high‑quality library and information services. With a recognised graduate or postgraduate library qualification and eligibility for ALIA membership, you bring a strong foundation in the principles, concepts, and theory of contemporary library practice.
Tech‑savvy and future‑focused, you’re comfortable working with library systems including circulation, inventory, and analytics and you stay curious about emerging technologies such as digital literacy tools and AI. You’re able to support others in developing these skills and enjoy helping people navigate the evolving information landscape. Adaptable and collaborative, you thrive in dynamic environments and are willing to travel occasionally to maintain service continuity across the library network.
