Seeking both male and female disability support workers to join our dedicated team at Ocean Support Services for clients in both Yeppoon and Rockhampton, QLD.

This is a casual ongoing role where you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with a range of disabilities, helping them live independently and achieve their goals.

What you’ll be doing

Assist clients with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks

Facilitate community access and participation, supporting clients to engage in social, recreational, and educational activities

Provide positive behaviour support and implement behaviour management strategies

Advocate for client rights and ensure their needs are met with empathy and respect

Maintain accurate client records and documentation

Work collaboratively with allied health professionals and the broader support team

What we’re looking for

Certificate III in Individual Support/Disability or a related field & Mental Health Experience highly regarded.

Experience providing direct support to people with disability, mental health issues, or complex needs.

Minimum 1 years of direct disability support experience required.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and provide person-centered care.





Strong problem-solving and decision‑making abilities.

Commitment to upholding the rights, dignity, and independence of people with disability.

Versatile, adaptable, and able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.

Current driver's license and reliable vehicle.

Australian citizenship required for this position.

Must possess valid NDIS worker screening, police check, working with vulnerable people clearance, and be able to provide reference checks.
