The Company is in search of a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the digital transformation and innovation agenda. The successful candidate will be at the forefront of driving the digital roadmap, with a focus on integrating research, innovation, education, and engagement missions. This pivotal role involves overseeing the development and execution of the IT strategy, with a key emphasis on creating a unified and productive IT framework.

The CIO will also be responsible for providing strategic leadership in the adoption and governance of artificial intelligence, ensuring that these technologies are embedded in a responsible and secure manner to enhance decision‑making, service delivery, and operational performance. To excel in this position,



the CIO must be an outstanding leader with a proven track record in strategic IT management and large-scale IT transformations. The role requires close collaboration with the University Executive Committee and senior managers, making a Canberra base for the CIO preferable.
