We are looking for an experienced CNC Laser Operator to join our Brisbane-based metal fabrication business.

About the Role

As a CNC Laser Operator, you will play an key role in our production team by ensuring components are cut accurately, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Setting up and operating CNC laser cutting machines
- Loading and unloading sheet material safely and efficiently
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and job specifications
- Selecting and verifying correct materials for production
- Conducting first-off and in-process quality inspections
- Performing routine machine maintenance and housekeeping
- Working closely with production and scheduling teams to meet delivery deadlines

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience operating CNC laser cutting equipment
- Experience with fibre laser technology will be highly regarded
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality




- Good computer skills and confidence using CNC control systems
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude

Experience with Trumpf, Bystronic, Amada, Bodor, Yawei, Mitsubishi or similar CNC laser systems is highly regarded.

Experience operating CNC plasma, waterjet, turret punch, or other CNC profiling equipment will also be considered.
