About the Role
You’ll support NDIS participants through the delivery of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) in line with the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework. Working closely with participants, families, carers, and support teams, you will:
- Conduct functional behaviour assessments and observations
- Develop, implement, and review Positive Behaviour Support plans
- Focus on skill development and reducing restrictive practices
- Provide coaching and training to families and support staff
- Collaborate with allied health professionals and key stakeholders
- Promote participant choice, strengths, and independence
- Work across a range of settings, including homes, schools, day programs, and community environments.

Is This You?
We welcome applications from experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners with current NDIS suitability. To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, Education, Early Childhood or Applied Behaviour Analysis (or similar)
- Experience supporting participants with complex behaviours, psychosocial disability, intellectual disability, autism, neurodevelopment conditions and trauma-related needs.
- Understanding of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) principles.
- Ability to conduct Functional Behaviour Assessments.
- Familiarity with restrictive practices and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of the PBS Capability Framework and NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission requirements.
- Strength in report writing, documentation and stakeholder communication skills.
- A client-focused mindset, with a passion for helping others grow.
- Interest in ongoing professional development.
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and National Police Check, or willingness to obtain.
- Current NSW driver’s licence and reliable transport.
