We are searching for an outstanding enterprise delivery leader to help a major Australian organisation transform how it prioritises, plans and executes its strategic agenda.
This is not a traditional PMO or portfolio reporting role.
You will work across the Executive Leadership Team, key Business units and Technology to establish one enterprise approach to prioritisation and quarterly delivery. The mandate is transparent: reduce portfolio complexity, stop low-value activity and focus investment and capacity on the outcomes that matter most.
Your remit will include:
- Leading the enterprise quarterly planning and delivery cycle
- Establishing one transparent enterprise priority list
- Shifting prioritisation from tactical activity to strategic outcomes
- Facilitating planning, dependency management and delivery commitments
- Identifying work that should be prioritised, consolidated or stopped
- Introducing mid-quarter and end of quarter performance reviews
- Strengthening outcome and benefits realisation
- Helping align business and technology teams around shared priorities
- Supporting the evolution of the enterprise delivery operating model
- Exploring how Data and AI can improve planning, governance and execution
We are looking for someone who brings:
- Enterprise portfolio, transformation or strategic delivery leadership
- Strong organisational design and change management experience
- Experience across complex technology and digital environments
- Exceptional analytical capability and the ability to simplify complexity
- Confidence influencing executive and director level stakeholders
- Knowledge of lean portfolio management and contemporary delivery practices
- A pragmatic, action oriented style with the courage to challenge constructively
- Experience in health, financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous
Success will come through influence, judgement and the ability to turn executive intent into practical organisational change.
