RDC Clinical is a Brisbane-based research organisation specialising in clinical trials for the nutraceutical, food, and pharmaceutical industries. We partner with sponsors around the world to design and deliver high-quality human clinical studies, from early-phase bioavailability work through to regulatory submissions.

We're looking for a detail-focused Laboratory Assistant to join our trials team, supporting the processing and management of samples collected during our clinical trials.

This new role is based in office at RDC Clinical's Brisbane site. Morning starts (around 7am) and flexibility around clinical trial visit schedules should be expected, in line with study fasting and sample collection windows.

What you'll be doing:

- Processing blood samples collected during clinical trials, including centrifugation, aliquoting, and preparation for analysis or storage
- Accurately pipetting and handling samples to protocol-specified volumes and tolerances
- Labelling, logging, and tracking samples through the chain of custody




- Managing laboratory freezers and refrigerators, including inventory control, sample placement, and temperature monitoring
- Assisting with sample analysis using ELISA and autoanalyser platforms
- Maintaining accurate laboratory documentation in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP)

What you'll bring:

- Demonstrated experience in blood sample processing in a lab, clinical, or pathology setting
- Confident pipetting technique and sample handling practices
- A relevant qualification in laboratory, medical, or biomedical science
- High attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation
- Ability to pick up new tasks and techniques quickly

Nice to have:

- Experience performing ELISA assays
- Experience operating autoanalyser instrumentation
- Experience with freezer/cold-chain storage management and record-keeping
- Prior experience in a clinical trial or GCP-regulated laboratory
