We are growing our Casual Relief Pool and looking for 8 reliable cleaners to join the team, based at our Ashgrove site with the possibility of additional shifts at other schools across Brisbane's Northern Suburbs as they come up.
These roles are ideal for last minute shift fill, covering staff leave, and picking up additional adhoc work. You will be contacted when shifts are available, so being able to say yes to work when it suits you is valued, though there is no expectation to be available for every shift offered.
This is also a great way to get your foot in the door with us. Casual relief cleaners who consistently do a great job are considered first when permanent positions become available.
This is a professional, community focused environment where you'll help maintain clean, secure and welcoming spaces for students, staff and visitors.
Areas you'll maintain include:
- Classrooms and office spaces
- Staff rooms and kitchen areas
- Amenities and bathrooms
- Hallways, entryways and common areas
- Outdoor areas as required
Daily duties may include:
- Vacuuming, mopping and dusting
- Cleaning amenities and shared spaces
- Rubbish removal and restocking consumables
- Sanitising high touch surfaces
- Maintaining cleanliness standards across the site
Requirements:
- At least 1 year of cleaning experience
- School cleaning or housekeeping experience preferred
- Blue Card (required)
- Police Check required (or willing to obtain)
- Reliable, detail oriented and able to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Willingness to accept ad hoc and last minute shifts as they arise
