Due to continued growth in our perishables division, we are seeking an experienced Perishables Warehouse Operator to join our Sydney team.

This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced setting and understands the importance of handling temperature-sensitive and time-critical freight with care and precision.

About the Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient handling of import and export perishables shipments within our Sydney warehouse facility.

Key responsibilities include:





- Receiving, checking and processing perishable cargo
- Loading and unloading trucks and ULDs
- Operating forklifts and warehouse equipment safely
- Palletising, wrapping and labelling freight
- Conducting accurate stock and inventory checks
- Maintaining temperature-controlled storage requirements
- Completing warehouse documentation and scanning activities
- Ensuring compliance with aviation security, customs and quarantine requirements
- Assisting with container unpacking and freight inspections
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Previous experience in a perishables, airfreight or cold-chain warehouse environment
- Current Forklift Licence (LF)
- Experience handling fresh produce, seafood, meat, flowers or other temperature-sensitive products
- Understanding of chain-of-custody and temperature control requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to lift and move freight safely
- Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Flexibility to work shift hours, weekends or overtime when required
- Screener accredited from the Department of Home Affairs
- Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
- Experience with CargoWise or warehouse scanning systems
