Programmed are currently seeking an experienced Roller Operator to join our civil construction crew working on major projects.
About the Role
As a Roller Operator, you will be responsible for operating compaction equipment safely and efficiently while supporting earthworks, road construction, pavement works and associated civil activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate padfoot and smooth drum rollers in accordance with site requirements
- Conduct pre-start inspections and daily maintenance checks
- Ensure compaction targets and quality standards are achieved
- Work closely with Supervisors, Plant Operators, and Ground Crew
- Adhere to all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures
- Assist with general civil labouring duties when required
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience operating rollers on civil construction and road projects
- Current Roller Ticket / Statement of Attainment
- White Card
- Experience working on road, pavement,
earthworks or infrastructure projects
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Ability to work effectively within a team setting
- HR or MR Driver's Licence
- Traffic Control tickets
