MAM Engineering Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Production Operator / Fabricator to join our team in Peakhurst. This is a hands‑on role within our steel manufacturing operation, offering stable full‑time employment, competitive pay, and the opportunity to work with a supportive and safety‑focused team.

About the Role

As a Production Operator / Fabricator, you will play a key role in our day‑to‑day manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for operating production machinery, fabricating steel products, supporting warehouse activities, and undertaking occasional site work as required.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate production machinery to cut and drill steel sections.
- Safely operate overhead gantry cranes to move steel throughout the production process.
- Perform welding and general fabrication duties.
- Carry out spray painting and finishing work.
- Assist with general warehousing duties when machinery is not operating to maximise efficiency.
- Undertake occasional site work, including installation and support activities as required.




- Work collaboratively with the production team to achieve daily production KPIs.
- Take ownership of machine performance, including output, quality, downtime, and housekeeping.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Champion workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

About You

- Previous welding and fabrication experience.
- A current HR truck license (preferred).
- Experience operating production machinery within a manufacturing or steel environment.
- Experience operating overhead gantry cranes (preferred).
- Willingness to undertake occasional site work.
- A strong commitment to workplace safety.
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
