SPL Security Solutions is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join our growing team in Bundall, Queensland. This is a full-time position that offers a strategic opportunity to lead financial operations and drive financial excellence within our organisation. As Senior Finance Manager, you will take on a pivotal role in managing our financial functions, ensuring compliance, optimising processes, and providing critical financial insights to support business decision-making. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping the financial direction of SPL Security Solutions and contributing to our continued success and growth.

Key responsibilities

- Oversee and manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
- Prepare and present accurate financial statements and reports to senior management and stakeholders in a timely manner
- Develop and monitor budgets, working with department heads to ensure financial discipline and cost control across the organisation
- Manage cash flow, working capital and financial planning to optimise liquidity and support business objectives
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations and financial governance requirements
- Lead, mentor and develop the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional excellence
- Implement and maintain robust financial controls, systems and processes to safeguard company assets
- Conduct financial analysis and provide strategic recommendations to support business planning and decision-making
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors and regulatory bodies to ensure full compliance and audit readiness
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains within the finance function

What we're looking for

- 5+ years' experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a mid-sized organisation or larger corporate environment
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management practices and Australian accounting standards (AASB/IFRS)
- Proven experience in financial planning,



analysis, budgeting and forecasting
- Demonstrated expertise in financial control implementation, risk management and compliance
- Advanced proficiency with accounting software and financial management systems, including experience with cloud-based platforms
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable business insights
- Excellent leadership and team management capabilities, with a track record of developing high-performing teams
- Outstanding communication skills, able to present complex financial information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Tertiary qualification in accounting, commerce, finance or related discipline
- Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, CPAA or equivalent) preferred
