This is an opportunity for a hands-on Technical Lead who wants to shape both technology and people. You'll work closely with engineering, product and business stakeholders to drive technical direction, support architectural evolution and help engineers grow in capability, confidence and ownership. This is not a people management role. It's a leadership position for someone who leads from the front, remains close to the code and enjoys helping others achieve their best work.

What you'll do

- Lead technical direction and engineering decision-making across a critical ERP and application platform
- Coach and mentor engineers, helping them build capability, confidence and technical ownership
- Drive a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture through influence rather than authority
- Develop trusted relationships with engineers, providing constructive feedback, guidance and support
- Create clarity by establishing technical standards, priorities and best practices across the team
- Collaborate with Product, Design and Engineering stakeholders to deliver practical business outcomes
- Support engineers in navigating complex technical challenges, trade-offs and architectural decisions
- Champion continuous improvement across engineering practices, code quality and delivery standards




- Foster an environment where engineers feel empowered to contribute ideas, challenge assumptions and grow professionally
- Identify growth opportunities within the team and actively support professional development initiatives

What you'll need

- Robust hands-on background in C#, .NET / .NET Core development
- Experience leading technical direction while remaining actively involved in software delivery
- Demonstrated success coaching, mentoring and developing engineers
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience building collaborative, accountable engineering cultures
- Expertise with ASP.NET Core, Web APIs and modern React or Angular applications
- Strong SQL Server and T-SQL experience
- Understanding of Azure, DevOps practices and modern engineering approaches
- Ability to balance short-term delivery requirements with long-term technical sustainability
- Passion for enabling others, sharing knowledge and creating high-performing teams
