We are currently seeking 3 experienced Mechanical Fitters for a 7-day shutdown at a busy abattoir in Casino, Northern NSW, commencing Friday, 24 July.
This is a outstanding opportunity to secure excellent hourly rates, generous allowances, and accommodation provided.
What's on Offer?
- $58.00 per hour
- $100 per day Living Away From Home (LAFH) allowance
- Accommodation provided for the duration of the shutdown
Please note: Due to a truck show taking place in Casino over the first weekend, accommodation from Friday to Sunday will be located in Booyong, Bexhill or Ballina. Accommodation will still be fully provided.
- Confined Space ticket
- Working at Heights ticket or EWP licence
- White Card
- Own reliable transport to and from the site
- Own tools and full PPE
About the Role
- Work in a fast-paced shutdown environment
- Complete mechanical fitting duties within a red meat processing facility
- Demonstrate initiative and the ability to work independently
- Complete all required site inductions in your own time before commencing work
Additional Information
- Q Fever vaccination is recommended due to the nature of the work in the red meat industry, however it is not essential.
