Blackheath Dental is looking for a reliable, people-focused Dental Receptionist/Assistant to join our team on a long-term basis, 4 to 5 days a week. We're a busy practice with supportive management, and we're looking for someone who wants to settle in, take real ownership of their role, and grow with us over the years — not just pass through.

We pride ourselves on providing exceptional dental care and making every patient feel at home from the moment they walk in. It's a warm, hardworking practice where people enjoy coming to work.

About the role

- Greeting patients and making them feel welcome
- Answering calls, booking appointments and managing the schedule
- Processing payments
- Sterilisation and infection control

Infection control and chairside work are skilled, responsible parts of the job, and we'll fully train you in them — this is a role with genuine clinical responsibility, not reception with a bit of assisting added on.

Hours

Practice hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with Saturday mornings by appointment.



We'll confirm your set days with you — we value stability as much as you do.

Any level of experience will be considered. Full training, including workshops, is provided, so what matters most is the right person and the right fit. You'll thrive here if you are:

- Calm and organised in a busy environment, and good at juggling competing priorities
- Someone who genuinely enjoys working with people and putting patients at ease
- Comfortable following explicit procedures and open to feedback
- Confident with computers and quick to pick up new systems

For the right person, there's genuine room to grow here. As your experience and skills develop — including gaining your Certificate III in Dental Assisting — you'll build the credibility to step into a more senior, trusted role within the team over time.
