Based at our Clayton manufacturing site, you'll play a vital role in producing mRNA vaccines that make a meaningful difference for patients. Working in a highly advanced manufacturing environment, you'll combine technical expertise, digital capability, and scientific thinking to deliver high-quality products while continuously improving the way we operate.

Here’s What You’ll Do:

- Operate manufacturing equipment to safely produce mRNA vaccines in accordance with cGMP requirements, standard operating procedures, and manufacturing documentation.

- Practice safe work habits while adhering to Moderna's safety procedures, guidelines, gowning requirements, and housekeeping standards.

- Execute manufacturing activities with precision while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.

- Partner closely with Quality Assurance colleagues to complete batch documentation supporting the timely disposition of commercial product.

- Apply operational performance tools and collaborate with teammates to achieve manufacturing KPI objectives.

- Rapidly troubleshoot routine equipment, process, and digital issues to maintain reliable operations.

- Proactively identify and elevate compliance, quality, health, or safety issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor.

- Participate in incident investigations, root cause analysis (RCA), and CAPA activities.

- Maintain accurate training records and associated documentation.

- Perform routine basic equipment maintenance, including lubrication, mechanical checks, and filter changes using hand tools.

- Contribute to multiple projects and continuous improvement initiatives within a dynamic manufacturing environment.





- Collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams to support manufacturing excellence.

- Work rotating shift patterns, including afternoon and night shifts, weekends, public holidays, overtime, and roster adjustments based on production requirements.

We’re looking for someone who brings:

- Typically 3–5+ years' experience within a GMP manufacturing environment.

- A college degree specializing in Pharmaceutical Production Technology or an equivalent discipline.

- Aseptic manufacturing and visual inspection experience (preferred).

- Experience supporting audits and inspections with a sound understanding of health authority and regulatory expectations.

- Strong collaboration skills with peers, leaders, and cross-functional partners.

- Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.

- The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail with minimal supervision.

- Digital confidence and enthusiasm for working with advanced manufacturing technologies, automation, and emerging digital capabilities.

- A scientific mindset, strong learning agility, and a passion for continuous improvement.

- Availability to work full time on site at our Clayton manufacturing facility, supporting a 24/7 operation through rotating shifts.

- English language proficiency to support global collaboration.

- Willingness to participate in pre‑employment and periodic medical assessments where required for workplace health and safety.

Here’s What You’ll Need (Basic Qualifications)

- Typically,



3-5+ years of experience in a GMP manufacturing environment

- A College degree with a specialization in Pharmaceutical production technology or equivalent

- Aseptic experience and Visual Inspection experience preferred

- Experience in audit / inspection preparation, understanding Health authority and regulatory guidelines

- Ability to collaborate fluidly with peers, leadership and cross-functional support groups required

- Excellent written, oral communication, and organizational skills required.

- Ability to maintain attention to detail while executing multiple tasks with minimal supervision

- Demonstrated ability and willingness to work across rotating shifts, including afternoon and night shifts, in a 24/7 manufacturing environment

- This position is site-based, requiring you to be at Moderna’s site full-time. This position is not eligible for remote work
