About the Role

Working as part of a highly skilled maintenance team, you'll be responsible for the electrical maintenance, fault diagnosis and repair of a large fleet of heavy mining equipment. Your work will directly contribute to maximising equipment reliability, safety and operational performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults on heavy mining equipment
- Performing preventative maintenance and scheduled servicing
- Conducting inspections, testing and electrical diagnostics




- Completing breakdown repairs and component replacements
- Installing, maintaining and troubleshooting electrical systems and accessories
- Completing maintenance documentation and work orders accurately
- Identifying opportunities to improve equipment reliability and performance
- Working collaboratively with fellow tradespeople while maintaining a robust safety focus

About You

You're a qualified Auto Electrician with a passion for maintaining heavy equipment and delivering quality workmanship.

To be successful, you'll have:

- Australian recognised Trade Qualification as an Auto Electrician
- Experience maintaining heavy mining or earthmoving equipment
- Current Refrigerant Handling Licence (Air Conditioning Ticket)
- Current Queensland Driver Licence
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- A proactive approach to safety and teamwork
- Commitment to delivering high-quality maintenance outcomes
