We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Centre in Carnes Hill ( South West Sydney ), near Hoxton Park. Full- Time hours for the right candidate.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse -RN for a full time role for our location at Allcare Carnes Hill Medical Centre in Carnes Hill.

Responsibilities

- Ensure the highest level of customer service via optimal communication, presentation and professional expertise
- Recognize and uphold the rights of all patients accessing services, including maintaining cultural sensitivity.
- Experience in Triage, immunizations, other injections, wound management, health assessments, chronic disease management, ECG and general practice nursing
- Completing pre- employment medical assessments
- Manage allocated administrative and service tasks including recalls and reminders, concise and accurate documentation of all relevant findings, and ensuring timeframes and schedules are adhered to.
- Ensure equipment is well maintained for safe and accurate use e.g. calibration of equipment, expiration dates.




- Comply with privacy and confidentiality principles to all work practices including the Allcare Carnes Hill Medical Centre policies and procedures.
- Assisting Doctors with minor procedures
- Participate in patient Care Plan (GPMP) and Health assessments process to identify health issues and promote the prevention of disease

Requirements

- Current unrestricted nursing registration with AHPRA
- Registered Nurse (RN) qualifications with minimum 3 years General Practice Experience .
- Experienced in developing Chronic Care Plans in collaboration with GPs
- Experience in Vaccine and Cold Chain management.
- Previous Medical Centre nursing experience in a General Practice.
- Ability to multi- task, time manage and work effectively in a busy environment.
- Ability to work autonomously
- Intermediate and willingness to learn computer abilities
- Exceptional customer service
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Commitment to best practice nursing
- Adhere to nurse's professional code of conduct and ethics

- Training in CPR, undertaken within the past 12 months
- A high level of computer literacy

- An understanding of the Medicare Benefits Schedule
- Knowledge of sterilization
- Remuneration will depend on experience and qualifications. Salaries will be negotiated prior to final appointment. Terms and conditions of employment are governed by the Nurses Award 2020 and the National Employment Standards in the Fair Work Act 2009.
