Role Description

You’ll be entrusted with maintaining protected, compliant traffic environments across a range of works and events. This role requires situational awareness, sound judgement, and a commitment to doing things the right way - even when no one is watching.

What success looks like in this role

- Delivering safe, controlled traffic environments that protect workers and the public
- Applying approved traffic control arrangements with confidence and precision
- Actively assessing site conditions and adjusting controls to suit changing risks
- Ensuring vehicles, signage, and equipment are prepared, compliant, and fit for use
- Taking ownership of site safety documentation and risk controls
- Identifying hazards early and escalating concerns before incidents occur
- Maintaining safe traffic flow,



including interactions with pedestrians and cyclists
- Supporting less experienced controllers through clear direction and leadership
- Working professionally with supervisors, inspectors, and client representatives
- Representing Safe Traffic Management to a high qualified standard on every site with every client

- Current Traffic Control qualifications (or willingness to obtain)
