We are seeking a dedicated Local Cleaner to join our team in Mount Morgan, Queensland, within the mining industry. The Site Cleaneris responsible for maintaining a clean,hygienicand safe environment across Heritage Minerals operationalfacilities. This casual part-time role is essential for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in our facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for all employees. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and a commitment to high-quality work.

Key Responsibilities

- Clean andmaintainsite facilities including offices, crib rooms, ablutionblocksandcommon areas.
- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming,dustingand sanitising surfaces.
- Clean bathrooms and amenities ensuring adequate supplies of consumable (toilet paper, soap, paper towels)
- Manage waste disposal,recyclingand removal of rubbishin accordance withthe stie procedures.
- Clean windows, walls,floorsand fixtures asrequired.

Health, Safety and Environment (HSE)

- Comply withall Heritage Minerals safety policies,proceduresand site rules.
- Identifyand report hazards,incidentsor maintenance issues to supervisors.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely andin accordance withSafety Data Sheets (SDS).




- Maintainhigh standardsof hygiene to support workforce health and wellbeing.

Equipment and Supplies

- Correctly use andmaintaincleaning equipment and tools.
- Monitor cleaning supplies and report low stock levels.
- Ensure storage areas are kept clean,organisedand secure.

General Duties

- Work cooperatively with site services and operations staff.
- Maintain professionalism and respect when working in occupied areas.
- Performadditionalduties as reasonably directed to support site.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications

- Previousexperiencein cleaning,housekeepingor a similar role (industrial or commercial workplace preferred)
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks, including lifting and prolonged standing.
- Reliable,punctualand committed tohigh standardsof cleanliness.
- Experience in a mining or remote site environment.
- Knowledge of infection control and hygiene standards.
