We are currently seeking an experienced Shift Electrician to join our Manufacturing & Maintenance team. You will play a key role in maintaining production equipment, reducing downtime and ensuring plant operations run safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across manufacturing plant and equipment.
- Diagnose and repair electrical faults on production machinery.
- Work with PLC-controlled equipment, AC/DC drives and automated systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.
- Complete fault finding and troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
- Work closely with production and maintenance teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.
- Follow all workplace health, safety and environmental procedures.
- Participate in shift handovers and maintenance reporting.
What You Bring to the Team
- Current Electrical Trade Qualification (A-Grade Electrical Licence).
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Maintenance or Shift Electrician within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with PLCs, automated equipment and variable speed drives.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
- Australian Driver's Licence and reliable transport.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and commitment to workplace safety.
