We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Storeperson/Forklift Driver to join our dynamic team. This role requires a committed individual who is passionate about their customers and is capable of making significant contributions to our clients steel supply operations.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently manage and organize stock within the warehouse, ensuring proper storage.
- Load and unload goods using forklifts and other MHE at both company and customer sites while ensuring safety and precision.
- Collaborate with the team to streamline operations and solve any transportation-related issues.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the warehouse and on the road.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, and any incidents that occur.
Qualifications
- Valid Australian LF Licence is required.
- A HR Truck Licence is advantageous and highly regarded.
- Proven experience as a storesperson or in a similar role.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively and safely operate MHE at customer sites.
- Solid organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a diverse team.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to attend a face to face interview and undergo a full medical assessment including drug and alcohol screen as part of the employment process.
