About the Position:
As one of our Framing Consultants, your primary responsibility will be to provide outstanding service and a high quality product to our clients. You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique framing requirements and provide expert advice on suitable materials, styles, and finishes.
Your duties will include:
- Providing exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and delivering finished products in a timely manner.
- Collaborating with clients to determine framing options that meet their aesthetic preferences and budget.
- Selecting appropriate matting, glass, or acrylic glazing for optimal presentation and protection.
- Measuring and cutting framing materials with precision.
- Assembling frames using various tools and techniques.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, including inventory management of framing materials.
The position we have available is 2-4 days a week as well as a Saturday once a fortnight.
About You:
- Previous experience in picture framing, retail or a related field would be great but is not essential. Full training and guidance will be provided by our highly experienced staff.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Strong eye for design, with the ability to offer artistic suggestions to clients.
- Creative and enjoy working with your hands.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a small team environment.
- Physical dexterity and the ability to lift and manoeuvre artwork and framing materials.
- Ability to use equipment, such as saws, mat cutters, and pneumatic tools.
