Pumps and Pipeline Services is seeking an experienced Multi Skilled Excavator Operator to join our team in Muswellbrook, NSW. you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of water infrastructure projects for our tier1 clients, utilising your expertise to efficiently and safely operate plant and equipment. This is a full-time position Monday to Friday. Overtime available daily. (Not a FIFO or DIDO role).
What you'll be doing
Safely operate and maintain excavation equipment, including excavators, to complete various construction tasks
This will be a multi faceted role with a requirement to assist field team on the ground. Experience working on water management projects in either the mining, construction or agricultural industries with relevant tickets is essential
Effectively interpret site plans and blueprints to execute excavation work as per project requirements
Ensure all excavation activities are carried out in compliance with safety regulations, company and site policies
Collaborate with the management team to coordinate and optimise excavation workflow
Provide support and guidance to less experienced operators as needed
Experienced with excavation, trenching, benching, battering, backfill, grading and final trim essential to be considered for the role
What we’re looking for
Minimum 3 years of experience as an Excavator Operator
Demonstrated proficiency in operating a variety of excavation equipment
Strong understanding of site safety protocols and the ability to work safely in a dynamic environment
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to adapt to changing job site conditions
Ability to read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and other technical documents
Effective communication skills to collaborate with the team
Relevant licenses and certifications, such as a Excavator Ticket, are essential plus demonstrated experience
