TCLH, A national leader in specialist remote hospitality services, is seeking a hands-on Catering Manager to manage the flow of projects from mobilisation to completion – acting as the key link between clients, suppliers and stakeholders, overseeing all our catering contracts.

We work with high-profile clients across defence, oil & gas, mining and construction sectors, delivering critical remote hospitality and food service solutions on a 24/7 basis.

This role is based in our head office, located in Bundall, Gold Coast. Due to the team-oriented nature of our workplace, the role is required to be based in our office working alongside the team.

DUTIES INVOLVED

- Manage day to day catering operations of TCLH catering and managed sites
- Oversee and manage HACCP certified food safety plans and systems across the business
- Oversee and manage all cyclic menus, catering scopes and execution plans across our manages sites and facilities
- Be part of our menu development and R&D; team where we are constantly brainstorming,



learning and improving our service offerings to be that 1% better each and every day!
- Oversee and manage all site food budgets, including stocktakes, par levels and ordering systems
- Issue and track work orders for kitchen cleaning, maintenance, delivery and retrieval, along side our projects and Field Ops teams
- Maintain clear and regular communication with clients and supply chain throughout each project
- Attend project sites to oversee installation/decommissioning and identify improvements with kitchen and catering operations
- Oversee and conduct regular quality and food desktop and in-person safety audits alongside our Field Operations team and management
- Assist with quoting, scheduling, or project documentation during peak workloads or absences
- Assist with procuring and sourcing high quality suppliers, products and items – aligning with quality management and continuous improvement

ROLE REQUIREMENTS

- Experience as Executive Chef, Head Chef, Kitchen Manager, Catering Manager, or in food service operations
- Strong leadership and multitasking skills with the proven ability to manage a small team
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
- Hands on mindset and confidence in attending remote job sites or supplier premises
- Familiarity with kitchen layouts, install logistics or product delivery
- Familiarity with food costings, budgets & P&L;’s is advantageous
- Ability to use or quickly learn systems like HubSpot, Excel and Asana
- Experience and understanding of the hospitality, resources and remote sectors is extremely beneficial
