About the Opportunity

Legion Drilling is Australia's premier specialist contractor for environmental, geotechnical and sonic drilling services. Our high-spec fleet supports critical site investigations, contamination assessments and remediation projects that underpin major infrastructure, mining and environmental outcomes across the country.

We're expanding our maintenance and field service teams in Sydney (Wetherill Park) and Brisbane (Pinkenba) and are seeking passionate tradespeople who are excited by variety, autonomy and meaningful impact.

This is not repetitive workshop work or endless FIFO. It's hands-on, varied and rewarding - where your problem-solving directly keeps specialist equipment performing at its best and projects progressing.

What the Role Involves

- Complex diagnostics and repairs across diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical controls and mechanical components
- Scheduled servicing, preventative maintenance and performance optimisation
- Breakdown response and field support at drill sites nationwide
- Rebuilds, refurbishments and occasional custom fabrication to solve real field challenges
- Collaborating with drill crews to understand issues and deliver lasting solutions

Roster & Travel

7 days a month on an on-call roster for after-hours and weekend support,



plus frequent travel to drill sites around the country for scheduled servicing and breakdown support.

This rostered approach gives you predictable time at your home base (Sydney or Brisbane) while offering the variety of national projects - without full time FIFO.
