About the role

We are seeking a Pre Construction Coordinator to join Masterton Homes in a full-time capacity, based at our Warwick Farm office. This is a key position within our planning and scheduling operations, where you will play a vital role in ensuring that all projects are properly coordinated before construction commences. As Pre Construction Coordinator, you will be responsible for managing the critical planning phase of our projects, working closely with customers, engineers, Waterboard, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery from Contract signed through to site commencement.

Key responsibilities

- Coordinate and manage pre-construction planning activities, including site surveys, compliance checks, and documentation reviews
- Liaise with customers, councils, certifiers, and internal teams to gather all necessary approvals, specifications, and documentation of the job to be processed through to the construction stage.
- Ensure our customer is kept informed and updated on a regular basis with the progress of their job
- Ensure all regulatory requirements, permits,



and approvals are obtained prior to construction commencement
- Identify potential delays or issues and develop solutions to mitigate project risks
- Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the pre-construction phase

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in pre-construction planning or scheduling within the construction industry
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, with experience liaising with customers
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications ie. Click Home
- Knowledge of construction processes, methodologies, and industry standards
- Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and record keeping
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to anticipate and address potential issues
