Better Built Sheds Mackay is looking for hardworking and skilled Shed Erectors to join our team in Mackay, QLD on a full time basis. As a Shed Erector, you will be responsible for the safe and productive installation of our high-quality sheds at customer sites across the region.
What you'll be doing
- Read and interpret technical specifications and engineering drawings to ensure accurate assembly
- Use a variety of hand and power tools to assemble shed frames, cladding, and accessories
- Work as part of a team to complete installations in a timely and skilled manner
- Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process
- Maintain a clean and organised work area throughout the installation
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed to protect yourself and others on site
What we're looking for
- Previous experience as a Shed Erector or similar construction role
- Strong practical skills and the ability to read and interpret technical plans
- Proficient in the use of hand and power tools common in the construction industry
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- A positive, collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- A current driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Commitment to workplace health and safety
