We are seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our busy steel recycling centre in Hemmant.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced recycling environment where safety, productivity, and teamwork are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate excavators safely and efficiently in a steel recycling yard.
- Sort, load, and process scrap steel and other recyclable materials.
- Feed processing equipment and load trucks as required.
- Conduct pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Follow all site safety procedures and company policies.
- Demonstrated excavator operating experience in a metal or steel recycling environment.
- Current excavator ticket/licence.
- Strong awareness of workplace health and safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Own reliable transport.
- Must have full Australian working rights.
- Applicants on Working Holiday or Student Visas will not be considered.
What We Offer:

- Afternoon shift (2:00 pm - 10:00 pm).
