Reporting to the Executive Team, you will take ownershipofprocurementand logistics working with the team supporting a major program. You will uplift standards, streamline processes, and drive consistency in how we engage, negotiate, and manage suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned to Designworks' objectives
- Establish and communicate governance frameworks, processes and structured supply chain controls
- Ensure internal policies, compliance obligations and program requirements for procurement activities are identified and achieved
- Identify and mitigate risks to supply chain resilience
- Lead supplier sourcing, evaluation and commercial negotiation
- Manage supplier performance and ensure any issues are identified, communicated and resolved
- Support supply chain audit and review processes
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, supply chain lead times and inventory efficiency
About you
- Experience developing and implementing procurement governance frameworks and policies
- Solid knowledge of supply chain processes and procurement requirements within the aerospace manufacturing industry
- Practical understanding of local and international supply chain compliance requirements (e.g. export controls, DFARs, ITAR)
- Extensive MRP experience with Odoo preferred
- Ability to engage confidently with internal and external stakeholder
- All candidates must;
- Be an Australian Citizen
- Be able to obtain and maintain an Australian Government Security Clearance (NV1 preferred)
