Established in 1983 as a key service provider to the increasing migrant, refugee and new international arrivals population of the Gold Coast, Multicultural Communities Council Gold Coast Ltd (MCCGC) is the peak regional organisation serving the needs of multicultural residents.

With more than 35 years’ experience, MCCGC is well known and regarded for its role in helping people from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds connect with the local community and have equal access to appropriate health and well-being services.

About the Role
The Marketing & Communications Coordinator supports MCCGC's marketing and communications activities, helping to increase brand awareness, strengthen community engagement, and promote our services across multiple channels. Reporting to the Communications Team Lead, you will create engaging content, support digital marketing initiatives, and help ensure consistent and skilled communication across the organisation.

What You Will Do

- Support the delivery of MCCGC's marketing and communications activities.
- Create engaging content including social media posts, graphics, videos, and website updates.
- Assist with marketing campaigns and service promotions.
- Develop communication materials that align with MCCGC's branding and messaging.
- Maintain organisational websites, Google Business listings,



and online directories.
- Support SEO, email marketing, Google Analytics reporting, and digital engagement activities.
- Monitor campaign performance and prepare basic reports and insights.
- Manage promotional materials and coordinate distribution.
- Support community events through marketing and communications activities.
- Assist with internal communications and SharePoint content updates.
- Coordinate and support Marketing & Communications volunteers.
- Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Media, Communications, or related field
- 3–5 years’ experience in a marketing, communications, or graphic design role.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) and Canva.
- Experience editing videos (CapCut or Premiere).
- Knowledge of content management systems (WordPress, SharePoint).
- Understanding of social media platforms and paid campaigns (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
- Excellent communication, copywriting, and proofreading skills for diverse audiences.
- Current National Police Certificate.
- Current Working with Children Check (QLD)
