Our client is a values-driven NDIS provider dedicated to delivering high-quality, person-centred disability support services across South East Queensland. An exciting opportunity has become available for an organised Administration Assistant to join the team on an initial 4-month contract, with the potential for extension or a permanent opportunity.
Supporting the leadership team, you'll play a key role in preparing the organisation for an upcoming NDIS audit by ensuring documentation is accurate, compliant and audit-ready. This role is ideal for someone who is highly organised, enjoys working autonomously and has exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, organise and maintain documentation for upcoming compliance and NDIS audits.
- Review files and records to ensure documentation is complete, accurate and compliant.
- Assist with maintaining policies, procedures and compliance registers.
- Liaise professionally with employees, clients and external stakeholders via phone and email.
- Coordinate and maintain electronic filing systems using Microsoft Office, Google Drive and Dropbox.
- Prepare reports, spreadsheets and documentation using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Provide general administrative support to the leadership team.
- Identify documentation gaps and proactively follow up outstanding information.
- Assist with process improvements and administrative tasks to support business operations.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in an Administration, Compliance or Office Support role.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat/PDF editing software.
- Confidence using cloud-based document management systems such as Google Drive and Dropbox.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Professional phone manner with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
- Solid problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Previous experience supporting compliance or audit activities will be highly regarded.
- Experience within the NDIS, disability, health, aged care or community services sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
