Family Dental Care is seeking a talented Dentist to join our practice in Campbelltown NSW 2560. This is a part-time position that offers flexibility whilst maintaining the high standard of dental care our patients expect. As a Dentist, you will play a crucial role in our practice, providing comprehensive oral healthcare services to our diverse patient base. This position is integral to our mission of delivering exceptional dental treatment and maintaining our reputation as a trusted provider of dental services in the local community.

What you'll be doing

- Conducting thorough patient examinations and developing individualised treatment plans
- Performing preventative dental treatments including cleanings, fluoride applications and sealants
- Providing restorative treatments such as fillings, crowns and bridges
- Extracting teeth when necessary and managing post-operative care
- Taking and interpreting dental radiographs and other diagnostic imaging
- Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records in line with regulatory requirements
- Communicating effectively with patients to explain treatment options and ensure informed consent
- Collaborating with dental hygienists, assistants and other team members to deliver coordinated care
- Adhering to infection control protocols and maintaining a safe clinical environment
- Staying current with developments in dental practice and professional standards

What we're looking for

- A valid dental degree or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia
- Current registration with the Dental Board of Australia and a valid practising certificate
- Experience in general dentistry, with exposure to a range of treatment modalities




- Strong clinical skills and a patient-centred approach to care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of current infection control standards and occupational health and safety requirements
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary dental team
- Commitment to professional development and continuing education
- Experience in a private dental practice setting is advantageous
- Proficiency with dental practice management software is desirable
