We are seeking a reliable and hands‑on Supervisor to coordinate and support operations at our Precision Oxycut factory.

This is a practical, on-the-ground role that involves working directly with and leading the team, operating forklifts, completing despatch tasks, and managing computer-based functions such as documentation, manifests, and system entries. The role suits someone who enjoys a mix of hands‑on work and supervisory responsibilities ensuring workflow runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

We are looking for two Supervisors

Day Shift:

6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday

Afternoon Shift:

2:00pm to 10:30am Monday to Friday

- Lead and ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote safe work practices for employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Respond to emergency situations and monitor environmental impacts.
- Plan and schedule operations and despatch activities to meet customer demands and optimise resource utilisation.
- Oversee the safe operation of all machinery including basic maintenance of forklifts and material‑handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe production facility and yard environment through regular audits
- Monitor incoming and outgoing materials to ensure accuracy and quality standards are met.
- Review and improve production quality assurance processes and proactively address concerns.
- Schedule and assign tasks to ensure efficient workflow and minimal overtime.
- Oversee employee onboarding, on‑the‑job training, and performance feedback.
- Address non‑performance and support return‑to‑work plans for injured employees.
- Prepare and monitor despatch reports to optimise throughput and reduce costs.




- Implement operational goals aligned with monthly financial targets.
- Identify and provide training opportunities for staff to enhance skills and performance.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for safety and operational practices.
- Track machine efficiencies/output and liaison with machine operators to maximise performance on machines.
- Oversee scheduled operator machine maintenance and reallocate work if needed to meet maintenance needs.
- Managing/analysing regular cycle counts of stock material.

ABOUT YOU

- Proven experience in metal/manufacturing/mining industry and despatch, warehousing, logistics.
- Minimum three (3) years of supervisory or senior operator experience.
- Strong understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation.
- Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
- High‑risk work licences and relevant qualifications in Commerce, Business, Logistics, or WHS are desirable but not essential.
