Coastal Plant Repairs are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Plant/Heavy Diesel or Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our family business!

With prospect to work in the field servicing Newcastle, Hunter Valley and the Central Coast and in the workshop. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work within a team environment and autonomously.

The position involves:

Scheduled servicing and Maintenance

Within our family business, we like to place specific importance on our customer service, safety and provide flexibility and balance for you and your family.

About the position:

- Full time, Monday - Friday 07:00 - 15:30
- $35-$55p/h depending on experience
- Choice of service Ute or truck

What you’ll need:

- Hold a relevant current NSW drivers licence




- Forklift license an advantage
- Hold a Plant Mechanic, Heavy Vehicle/Light Vehicle Trade Qualification
- Have experience working on a variety of equipment and machinery
- High level of technical ability and knowledge
- Be able to diagnose and rectify problems efficiently
- Be able to work unsupervised, as well as part of a team
- Be trustworthy, hard-working and take pride in your work
