Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics, Mechanical or Structures)
We are actively on the lookout for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers interested in transitioning to an instructor role. As an instructor, you'll take the lead in delivering both theory and practical training within your trade stream, inspiring and supporting the next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers.
No instructor experience? No problem
While previous training or mentoring experience will be highly regarded, it's not essential – just bring your technical knowledge, growth mindset, and passion for aviation.

These roles offer a unique opportunity to teach our next generation of aircraft maintenance engineers, including developing training materials and practical activities for them.
You will be offered variety and autonomy and will be able to demonstrate your ability to be highly organised and proactive, as well as a strong problem-solver with an aptitude for fostering effective relationships with students as you take them on their learning journey.
- Certificate IV in Aeroskills
- EASA Part 66 recognised qualification will be highly regarded.
- Current Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (AME) or Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (LAME) licence will be highly regarded, along with experience in a training or mentoring role.
- Willingness to learn, grow and obtain a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Ability to work both autonomously and within a small, close-knit team.
- Well-developed problem-solving skills and solid organisation skills.
- Enthusiastic attitude with a passion for aviation.
- Experience working in the aviation industry, preferably at least 3 years.
