The Opportunity
We are welcoming a NEWLY CREATED ROLE!
This is a predominantly office-based role working really closely with our internal repairs teams. You as our Construction Manager will be responsible for the effective management and oversight of all Work in Progress (WIP) claims within their portfolio, ensuring jobs continue to progress efficiently, risks are identified early, and service delivery expectations are consistently met.
Key responsibilities include:
- Work closely with our Client Relationship Team, act as the primary point of contact for all escalations relating to WIP jobs that require scope or methodology.
- Assess escalated matters and coordinate appropriate actions to minimise delays and achieve timely claim resolution.
- Attend site meetings for complex, high value, or escalated claims, representing the business professionally with clients, insurers, builders, and other stakeholders.
- Lead and facilitate site meetings where required, ensuring clear outcomes, agreed actions, and documented responsibilities.
- Conduct weekly WIP review meetings with Repair Coordinators (RCs) and Supervisors to monitor job progression, identify roadblocks, and establish clear action plans.
- Hold RCs and Supervisors accountable for agreed actions and ensure follow up on outstanding items.
- Monitor WIP performance against key performance indicators, including repair life, cycle times,
customer service outcomes, and financial targets.
- Identify jobs at risk of exceeding service level agreements or client expectations and implement recovery strategies.
- Provide guidance and support to RCs and Supervisors in resolving technical, operational, and customer issues.
- Escalate significant risks, client concerns, or operational issues to senior management where appropriate, together with recommended solutions.
- Ensure all claim records, actions, and communications are accurately documented within the claims management system.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with insurers, customers, trades, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient claim outcomes.
- Drive a culture of proactive communication, accountability, and continuous improvement across the team.
- Analyse WIP trends and identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce repair life, and enhance customer satisfaction.

- Organisation – A fast paced role will require a strong level of organisation is most definitely required.
