Labourer / Trade Assistant / Operator – FIFO from Brisbane or Cairns

Ready to get your foot in the door on a major NT project? We'reafter Labourers, Trade Assistants and Operators to join a FIFO crew working across a busy mine site in the Northern Territory.

This is a hands-on role offering a mix of labouring, mechanical support, fixed plant assistance and mobile equipment operation, making it ideal for candidates who enjoy variety and want to build long-term mining and maintenance experience.

What You'll Need

- White Card
- Relevant RII tickets for equipment operation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical
- Current driver's licence preferred
- Strong commitment to safety

What You'll Be Doing

- General labouring duties across site
- Assisting maintenance crews and tradespeople




- Supporting fixed plant maintenance activities
- Operating mobile equipment where licensed
- Assisting with hydraulic component work
- Housekeeping and site maintenance
- Following site safety procedures and standards

What We're Looking For

- Mechanically minded individuals
- Experience in mining, construction, maintenance, trades or heavy industry
- Exposure to hydraulics and/or fixed plant maintenance highly regarded
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
- Ability to work in a remote FIFO environment
